Young ladies who will be in 6th or 7th grade during the 2023-2024 school year can apply for a scholarship through their local electric cooperative to attend the Wolfpack Women's Basketball Camp June 18-21 at N.C. State University in Raleigh. Final dates will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
This scholarship is not available to students who have started classes for seventh grade and above. Each winner will receive an all-expenses-paid scholarship to attend the camp, which will include meals and lodging. Winners will be expected to secure their own travel arrangements.
To apply, students must complete and submit the below application. All applicants must have a parent/guardian sign consent in order to be eligible for the scholarship.
Each Touchstone Energy cooperative in North Carolina will award one scholarship for a girl to attend the camp, and a total of 26 scholarships will be awarded statewide. Young men are invited to apply for a scholarship to attend the Carolina Basketball School.

Parent/Guardian Consent
I do hereby allow my child to attend the Wolfpack Women's Basketball Camp at N.C. State University, should she be chosen as a scholarship recipient from my local electric cooperative.
Should my child receive a scholarship, I give my local electric cooperative permission to announce her award and publish her photo from camp.
I do hereby commit to provide transportation for my child to and from the camp, located in Raleigh, N.C.
Should my child win this scholarship, she will be able to attend the camp from June 19-22, 2022.
I understand that if my child cannot meet these requirements, she will not be eligible for the scholarship.
I understand that the camp may implement protocols and/or adjust eligibility requirements related to COVID-19.
I understand that my child must comply with any pandemic-related protocols and requirements in order to participate.
The Wolfpack Women's Basketball Camp requires that campers be able to safely participate in camp activities and that children with medical or mental conditions that interfere with safe participation are not eligible to attend. I will familiarize myself with the medical requirements stated in the camp application materials and certify that by my application, that my child is physically and mentally able to safely participate in the camp.
I understand that available health care services at the camp do not include on-site care by a physician. Registered nurses and athletic trainers are on duty to oversee MINOR MEDICAL CONDITIONS only. The camp cannot accept students who cannot take part in normal camp routines and activities.
I understand that the Wolfpack Women's Basketball Camp management has the right of refusal for any camper based on the above conditions and has the ability to terminate a camper's time at the camp due to an infraction of camp rules.
I understand and consent that the information submitted with this application will be shared and reviewed by North Carolina's electric cooperatives in order to select scholarship recipients.
I agree that the contact information provided as part of the application form will be used by NCEMC or the local cooperative for the purposes of confirming application information, as necessary, and for contacting applicants to inform them of the status of their selection. The information shall not be used for any other purpose.
