4-H Citizenship North Carolina Focus
Touchstone Energy cooperatives sponsor more than 100 youth delegates from across the state to attend the 4-H Citizenship North Carolina Focus. Each year these young leaders are invited to the state capital in Raleigh to discuss issues on a local and state level, meet with their state legislators, and participate in the taping of the public affairs television program, NC SPIN.
4-H Golf Tournaments
Several of North Carolina’s Touchstone Energy cooperatives host annual golf tournaments to raise funds for local 4-H programs. Collectively the golf tournaments raise more than $50,000 for 4-H programs across the state each year.
