RFP 1011: Conventional Power Supply Resources
North Carolina Electric Membership Corporation has issued a request for proposals (RFP) for power supply resources. NCEMC is seeking firm intermediate and peaking capacity beginning in 2012, as well as baseload capacity beginning in 2020. The primary reasons for this RFP are anticipated load growth and the expiration of existing power purchase agreements.
